Couldn't live without it! So easy to locate

Have had it a while and it will continue to be my Number One Keeper!.
I thought it was Calfskin bound and it turned out to be bound in Pigskin. words of christ NOT in red. its O.K. at best. some pages damaged ( stuck together) made in China of course. Wish I did not purchase this Item. "Expensive" Mine was NOT calfskin. (
I didn't like this because it's not the 1611version, but an updated version!
On four separate occasions, I've lost all of the annotations (highlights, bookmarks, etc.) that I made in the version. This occurred twice in the sample and twice, again, in the purchased copy. Totally frustrating. I've since relented and bought a paper copy. So for this reason, I couldn't recommend buying for the . (And, yes, I have many books on my , but this is the only one that has this problem.)
It is what it's suppose to be, a KJV 1611 bible. $1.99 for , $60 was the lowest price I could find for a print copy.
Extremely disappointed with this Bible. ISBN 978-1565631625 claims genuine leather. Do not be fooled. It is a cheap bonded leather binding. There are also 2-3 places where the word "The" as preceding the title of the Pauline Epistles as in The Epistle to the Philippians is accidentally printed at the bottom of the end of the previous Epistle. Inconsistency is the general rule in this re-print. for example the Font size of the "preface to the reader" is smaller than rest of the text of the Bible. The gothic script was done away with for the text of the bible, but is used in the "monthy calendars" which precede the text. Some Books of the Bible begin right away on the same page as the preceding book and some do not. This leads to the aforementioned problem of the double printing of the word "The". I suppose it is possible that this is the actual way it was printed in 1611, and if so I could raise my review to 3 or 4 stars. The cheapness of the binding and paper would still keep me from giving it 5 stars, however.
Description says, "This is the original 1611 King James Bible." Not true. Not even close. Steer clear if a 1611 is what you're looking for.
